Upfront Accommodation is located near Penrith, Cumbria in a rural setting in beautifully converted 17th century farm buildings.
It sits within the grounds of Upfront theatre and gallery, home of Upfront Puppet Theatre and workshops of artist, John Parkinson the co-founder and owner of the gallery, along with his wife Elaine.
The gallery presents a changing program of exhibitions throughout the year.
From the M6, exit via Junction 41 and take the B5305 towards Wigton. Upfront Gallery and Coffee Shop is on the left just past Hutton-in-the-Forest.
From Keswick take the A66 towards Penrith then left on to the B5288 to Greystoke. Follow small brown ‘stately home castle’ sign through Greystoke and Blencow. Continue until a ‘T’ junction (2 miles after Blencow). Turn left at ‘T’ junction and Upfront Gallery and Coffee Shop is 100 metres on the left.
